Head Injury ECHO offers a virtual network for providers working with people with head injuries with real-time access to experienced experts.
Through the use of a hub and spoke model, Head Injury ECHO gives participants the opportunity to take an active role in rich dialogue with the hub team (subject matter experts) and with their fellow spokes (participants) in an interdisciplinary teaching and learning environment.
Each session includes a brief lecture, and a deidentified case presentation. Cases are presented by spoke participants, and discussed among the group through an interdisciplinary lens. The Spring 2021 hub team includes a neuropsychologist, a physical therapist, an occupational therapist, a speech-language pathologist, and a physician board certified in brain injury medicine.
CMEs are available at no cost to participants.
