MAT ECHO Clinic - MAT and Pregnancy
The purpose of this one-hour online session is to provide participants in the CA Hub and Spoke network an opportunity
for remote and case-based learning to address the opioid epidemic. Candy Stockton-Joreteg, MD, Humboldt IPA, will present on the challenges and approaches to providing MAT services to pregnant women. Larissa Mooney, MD, UCLA,
will present a case addressing complex issues related to MAT and pregnancy.

Learning objectives:
Discuss two (2) ways in which MAT helps mothers with opiod use disorders and their babies.
List two (2) common misconceptions about MAT and pregnancy and their corresponding factual information.
Describe two (2) lessons learned about providing MAT to pregnant women.
Demonstrate two (2) lessons learned from case discussion.
